Heading into the start of our senior year in David Prouty, the class of 2018 realizes we all have grown into better people and we have some advice for our younger selves. We have learned a world of good thanks to all of the teachers and students around us.

The lessons we have mastered have helped to transform us into the people we are today.  Looking back on all that has happened in four years, we begin to be proud of ourselves. When you realize how much you have grown, happiness consumes you and the future seems more realistic. Coming into high school, all you think about is how hard it is going to be, but coming out-you see how easy it was. They say “hindsight is 20/20” in which case, ours might be worth looking over.

“Making Friends should not be your priority.”

“Do your homework because it is actually a big deal !”

“Be yourself!”

“Be respectful to teachers. If they see you showing respect then they will give you respect back.”

“YOU ARE WORTH IT. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve your goals.”

“Be the better person in any situation.”

“Never give up. Never doubt yourself.”

“Pay attention in school !”

“High School is WAY easier than you think and it goes by super fast.”

“Don’t let others affect you.”

“Don’t be an idiot!!!!”

“Don’t be scared. Get involved with everything.”

“Don’t put yourself in a bad position where you can’t focus on school.”

“Go out of your comfort zone.”

“Every year is a new year.”

“Go to bed early!”

As we, Senior Class of 2018,  approach our final year in high school we want to let the new generation know… we have been there and it all gets better. The class of 2018 came into high school separated and we leave together.
