The coach for fall cheerleading is Ms. Katie Fogwell. She has been coaching for David Prouty for almost 2 years now. When asked what made her want to take the coaching job at Prouty, she responded: “When the coaching position opened I went for it because I wanted to help restore the cheer program to what it had been for so long.”

Ms. Fogwell has one goal for the season and seasons to come. She says, “I hope to be able to build a strong foundation for student athletes to come and enjoy the sport they love.”

When asked what is the most rewarding part of coaching cheerleading, she states “Being able to give back to the kids that love the sport as much as I do is the best part about coaching.”

Ms. Fogwell’s old cheerleading coach has been the biggest influence in her life to become a coach. “I still work with him till this day and continue to thank him for everything he did for me.” Ms.Fogwell says.

Besides coaching cheer, her favorite thing to do is spending time with her son Julian.
