On Wednesday, March 14, many students in DPHS gathered in the gymnasium for a student-led assembly in memory of all the students and teachers who have lost their lives to gun violence in schools. As the students filed into the gym, they were each handed a piece of paper with the name, age and school. Each paper represented an individual who has lost their life in a school shooting in the U.S. The DPHS students then sat in the gym together, listened to two student speakers and participated in a moment of silence for the victims.
